in the intersection of contemporary art, ecology and research.
Camila Gueneau de Mussy is a Chilean curator, researcher and psychologist who is based in Amsterdam. Through exhibitions, public programmes and workshops, her artistic practice explores ways of encountering that foster affective and critical responsiveness. Her projects study ecological and political questions by engaging with singular stories and perspectives. Her latest exhibition, to admit a subtle thread, addresses the violence and complexity of extractivism as a modern development model, while also listening to knowledges and struggles of non-extractivist approaches. She holds a Research Master's degree in Cultural Analysis from the University of Amsterdam. Her thesis investigated the relational strategies used by artistic practices in Latin America to resist extractivism.
