MUSIC OFFERINGSWith music improvisation as a base for collective creation, this project invited the audience to become part of music and movement jam sessions. Musicians, performers and visual mapping artists conformed the collective Trabajo Remoto exploring different collaborative methodologies towards artistic expression.
Each session was built over short looped melodies offered by someone from the audience. From that base, people were invited to react through de use of instruments, open microphones, and improvized movements. In dialogue with the improvisation, proyection mappings created interactive atmospheres especific to each art space. During 2019, Music Offerings toured aroung art spaces in Santiago, Valparaiso and Valdivia, ‘offering’ closer approaches for audiences to participate in an artistic creation.
The project was funded by the National Fund for the Arts and Culture in Chile, FONDART.
